Cell phone use Project

ISSA LINK

topic of this project is about how much people can be addicted to their phones. In this project I will be  providing charts and data to support the claim that people spend too much time on their phones

In summary I found out that multitasking is a myth and that your brain does not really do two things at once. I now believe that staying on one task and not doing two at once is better for me and it would have a better impact on the quality of the work i would have been doing.

Tips

Don’t drink and drive

(JK)

But really it's better not to focus on two thing at once, it is always better to do one thing at a time so you don’t stress yourself out and your work will improve based on the time add instead of doing something else :)

You will be comparing your cell phone use to that of your peers and reflecting on your phone use and your classmates' phone use as it relates to research around multitasking and cell phone addiction.

I learned that most people need to get off of their phones and that we spend more time trying to be on our phones and we need to pay more attention to life.

The topic is about cell phone usage and the goal is to be more conscious of your own phone use as it relates to research round learning, brain function and addiction
One Analysis of the grade’s phone use as it relates to research around multitasking & cell phone addiction is texting while doing homework were most common.
I found that when you look at the averages of the amount of checks in a certain grade, it makes you realizes the effect it has how many times you check your phone. For instance, if your highest amount of checks were past the average highest amount of checks for a WHOLE grade, you’re probably addicted.
What my classmates and I should do is while in class, lock certain apps you think would be a distraction, turn your phone off, and set a schedule for how many times you would like to check your phone and how long.

Cell Phone and Multitasking Project Use

Posted by Kiersten Scudder in Intro to Tech and Comp App · Hertz · a2 on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 2:23 pm

This is about My cell phone use and Grade - wide use of cell phone use and multitasking. I use data to how many time I check my phone and how many times does the grade check their phones, but what are their doing when they are checking their phones. I discovered that cell phone addiction and multitasking can be good for certain amount of time been can be bad habit you have and you must take a break a let yourself breathe. Also that grade wide use and my phone use is use multitasking and doing other things that can and cannot be useful.  I can limit my cell phone by telling myself to find something else to keep occupied instead of being on phone. Another thing I do is put it somewhere my mind will not be tempted to touch it or be on it.

I realized that people really are addicted to their phones and I think the average was over my data if I had any. Also I realized that most people said they checked their phones less than their peers even though they were all the same. The things that I would do and my peers can do also is set a reminder on my phone that tells me when and not I can go on my phone. Last I would turn my notifications off for social medias and all that because that is what people check the most.I realized that people really are addicted to their phones and I think the average was over my data if I had any. Also I realized that most people said they checked their phones less than their peers even though they were all the same. I found my data through the cell phone google sheet.

The purpose of the project was to see how many times someone checks there phone and to see if you are addicted to your cell phone. To stop or to shorten peoples addictions I think they should turn off there phone or leave it home.

The purpose of this project is to be more conscious of your own cell phone use as it relates to the research around learning, brain function and addiction. To stop cell addiction and multitasking I think students should turns off their phones during class, put your phone on silent when doing your homework, and finding else to do when your bored instead of going on your phone. The whole classroom was told to download a app called, " Checky".We have to use that find how many times we check our phone over the course of two days. Then after,we finished the power point ans spreadsheet we had to fill out a survey to show our experiences of learning about multitasking and cell phone addiction.
